I developed the theme #What’sNext?: Working Together for the INSEAD Women in Business club’s 4th annual conference. Our goal: to beat the previous years’ attendance, which we exceeded much to the delight of our admin team and our sponsors.
Considering recent developments in the global conversation surrounding equality for women, like the #metoo and #timesup movements, we focused on the future of women’s equality and set a goal of exploring definitive next steps toward progress.
Inspired by the two-syllable #hashtag we reference the broader conversation. Because we are a group of action-minded aspiring leaders in business we ask: what’s next? The sub-theme, Working Together, is the result of unanimous agreement that equality for women will benefit business and society on the whole. Meeting this goal requires cooperation and understanding from all, so we invite everyone, regardless of gender, to invest in creating positive experiences for women in business.
